Mrs. Scotinos class travels the school

Today Mrs. Scotinos class walked around the school looking for interesting things to write about. Although there was not very much going on, we did not find very much to jot down. But we had to have a journalist mind and think hard about things that might not be so obvious.

Journalism unit started with a kick

Today we started our first unit in writing. It started with a kick for sure!!   During our reading Mr. Kearney stormed in with a very angry look on his face!!!!  It came out of no where! Everyone witnessed it. After he stormed in he started rummaging through Mrs.Scotinos cabinets, kicking over chairs, trying to get in her filing cabinets and slamming them shut! He seemed furious about not having his scale. He was blaming Mrs.Scotino saying she took his scales. Then he grabbed Truman the talking tiger and stormed out of the room with a mad face. After that our class was asked to write about what we just witnessed. Then Mrs. Scotino finally told us that Mr.Kearney was faking it. It was all a trick.
