      What is the Mannequin Challenge

Have you ever walked past a store and seen a mannequin in the window?, well if you have that is what you are trying to look like when you do the Mannequin Challenge. The Mannequin Challenge is where you get in a pose that would look like you were in the middle of doing something, but instead of moving you stay still like a Mannequin. You are probably thinking so we just stand still forever, well you chose someone to film you to the song Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd, or really to whatever song you want.

  A Great Experience

The 5 grade teachers at Glenridge Elementary decided to do the Mannequin Challenge. Mrs. Scotino, a 5 grade at Glenridge Elementary, quoted, “The Mannequin Challenge was really Mrs. Mcqueens {a 5 grade teacher at Glenridge Elementary} idea, also we thought it would be a fun idea to get people engaged in learning.”

So for the theme the 5 graders they picked a scene in their book and that's what they were trying to imitate while they did the Mannequin Challenge.

Why do the Mannequin Challenge

Why should you do the Mannequin Challenge? The Mannequin Challenge is a good way to have fun with other people, it's also so exciting because you don't know if the camera is coming to you or if you or someone else is going to mess up. The Mannequin Challenge is also a great way to learn more about working together because you have to work out your poses, also you have to figure out who is going to film and what the video is going to look like.
