Greek Festival

Greek Festival Has Record Breaking year
                         By Abigail
Labor day weekend there was a greek festival at St. Nicholas Church in St. Louis, Missouri. The church does it every year to raise money but in 2016 something happened that has never happened before they ran out of ALL FOOD!! So many more people came this year than in the past years so they didn’t make enough food.
The food shortage started at about 2:30 pm. They only had a few things left on the menu and one of the lines even closed down because there was no more food. At 5:00 pm all the food was sold out people still walked through the doors.
At 5:00 pm the dancers were going to perform but since there was no food they thought no one was going to stay. When they decided to dance the girls came out in layers of hot clothes and were surprised to find the gymnasium full of people wanting to watch them.. At the end of the dance Georgia Johnson, the dance instructor, said, “thank you all for staying and watching even though there's no food.”
